new here?
We are thrilled that you are interested in Bellevue Community Church! Sometimes attending a new church can be a daunting experience. Our goal is to help you feel welcomed and right at home! Below are the answers to a few frequently asked questions.
-
WHAT IS THE SUNDAY SERVICE LIKE?
-
It is our desire to glorify God and we invite you to worship with us. We want you to feel comfortable and at peace during our service. Our weekly worship service is a blend of contemporary worship songs and classic hymns, followed by a message from the Bible. Don't forget to "put your finger on the Text!"
-
-
ARE THE FACILITIES HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE?
-
Yes! The building is equipped with a ramp entry as well as a lower-level entrance directly from the parking lot.
-
-
IS THERE CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?
-
Every week the nursery is available during the worship service for children ages three and under. Older children (ages four through 4th grade) are invited to participate in Children's Church. Our Children's Ministry Team will engage your children with God's Word through singing, crafts, prayer, and stories. A snack will be provided so please alert the ministry team to any food allergies.
-
-
AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE MONEY DURING THE OFFERING?
-
Though there is always an opportunity to worship the Lord through the giving of tithes and offerings, we do not want anyone to feel an obligation to give. If the Lord leads you towards giving a tithe or offering to the church, we have buckets in the back corners of the sanctuary where you can place your gift!

-
WHERE DO I START?
-
1) A visit with the pastor to discuss who we are as a church and to get acquainted
-
2) If you desire to learn more, you will be invited to join the class "Introduction to Bellevue Community Church" and discover what it means to become a partner with our church

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Bellevue Community Church is a local congregation of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
The Alliance is one big, diverse, extended church family—with some half a million members in the United States alone, worshiping in 38 languages and dialects across the country. Our church family extends beyond the United States to more than 80 countries where 24,500 churches are home to more than 6.3 million Jesus followers—all sharing our vision to see All of Jesus for All the World.
The Alliance family plants churches and builds and administers schools, clinics, hospitals, community centers, retirement centers, and radio stations. We also partner with other churches, governments, and nongovernment organizations to extend care and practical support in the name of Jesus to families who’ve been devastated by disease, poverty, political turmoil, and natural disasters.

OUR VALUES:
-
Bible - the power of the Bible to transform my everyday life
-
Prayer - expectant fervent prayer that anticipates God's answer
-
Fellowship - connecting with and loving our church family throughout the week
-
Evangelism - intentionally moving people one step closer to Christ with each encounter
-
Missions - giving those who have never heard the Gospel the opportunity to hear and make a decision for Christ
-
Stewardship - giving God priority in the use of the resources (time, talent, and money) He has given to us

MEET THE PASTOR
Fred Coleman has been the pastor of Bellevue Community Church since 2014. Previously, he and his wife Pixie served in ministry for over 30 years with the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Wisconsin, Florida, and the Philippines.
Ministries
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
Romans 12:4-5

CHILDREN
Nursery - The nursery offers childcare during the Sunday morning worship service at 10:00am for children ages three and under.
Children's Church - Children ages 4 through 4th grade are encouraged to participate in Children's Church during the Sunday morning worship service. They will enjoy learning God's Word through hands-on, creative activities from age-appropriate lesson plans with their peers!
High School graduates and 20/30-somethings are invited to connect with each other in our Young Professionals Group. This group offers monthly events and regular activities to empower post-grads to invest in building authentic friendships within the Body of Christ. The monthly get-togethers include events that are adults-only and others that are family-friendly (bring your kids!). Regularly-scheduled FREE babysitting nights are also available!
SENIORS
Our 55+ Seniors Group adds vibrancy and wisdom to our BCC family! This group offers monthly get-togethers to provide seniors with a life-giving community to belong to, laugh with, and walk through this stage of life with together.
LIFE GROUPS
Life Groups are offered at Bellevue Community Church, through which members are encouraged to participate in fellowship and community with one another. We facilitate this by meeting in each other's homes for fellowship, bible study, discipleship, and prayer. Our Life Groups include people of all ages and are cross-generational. We believe that everyone has something to offer and something to learn from each other, from all walks of life.
